Introducing Crossing Lodges, the umbrella brand of two incredible locations within the Waterberg wilderness. You will be familiar with the one, the beautiful Zebras Crossing… but when you have something so magnificent that captures any desired view – you just got to have two!
Thus the birth of our Elephant Crossing!
Both lodges offer guests a desired getaway for any taste. While Zebras Crossing offers peaceful surroundings between the sloping hills of the Waterberg with mesmerizing streams and rock pools to adventurously indulge in nature; Elephant Crossing offers more of a thrill. A perfect combination of thrilling Big 5 adventures and serenity. Elephants Crossing is an exclusive tented bush lodge that overlooks wooded plains, a private waterhole and allows for beautiful and uninterrupted views of the reserve.
With a family of owners, each with their own story that eventually led them to Africa, Crossing Lodges has not only become a family business but a family all in the same, from guests to the animals and Mother Africa’s Nature.
Elephant Crossing will open February 2022 and will be a child friendly luxury tented camp as well as a self-catering Bush Villa in Welgevonden Game Reserve!
